		<description>Just to clarify, Social Media Marketing is completely seperate from Search Engine Optimisation. Social Media Optimisation is all about driving people from social media sites and little to do with search engines (except for the fact that some search engines own and integrate with social networks). In other words the aim of SMO (Social Media Optimisation) and SMM (Social Media Marketing) is to drive traffic from social media networks, not from Google or another search engine.

There are lots of ways to do this. Social bookmark tags are good as long as you can get people to vote for say, one "Digg" rather than making a thousand sepeate ones, as having 1000 versions of the same thing just means that 99% will probably get buried and one might succeed.
